Arne Groh

I'm a contemporary German painter and draftsman with a penchant for realism. In my oil paintings I mix detailed representations with impressionistic elements and create portraits, figurative paintings and plein-air landscapes.
My graphics are characterized by meticulous hatching. I refine them in further layers in order to be able to capture even the finest irregularities.

I was born in Karlsruhe (Germany) in 1975 and grew up there. From 2004 to 2008 I studied communication design at the Mannheim University. Since 2018 I increased my focus on oil painting.
