Ewa Dura is a versatile artist with a wide range of interests. She draws inspiration from a rich tapestry of cultural and traditional sources, including myths and local folklore. After graduating with a degree in Cultural Studies, she went on to obtain a doctorate in Literary Studies. She completed her postgraduate studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in 2018. Ewa Dura is also an expert in classical and modern drawing and painting techniques. She also experiments with small sculptural forms. She uses vibrant, strong, and even metallic colours, as well as ornamentation and decoration, to accentuate elements and create her artistic masterpieces. She also appreciates contrast, particularly minimalism in black and white, where colour appears sporadically as a counterpoint. She has produced both theoretical works and small poetic forms. In her theoretical and scientific works, she has addressed the theme of imaginative space. In her artistic endeavours, she fearlessly explores solutions within the boundless realms of creative imagination and imaginary space.
