Conversation Art — exploring identity, impermanence, and the space between strength and vulnerability.
Tanya Nguyen-Do is a visual artist whose work explores memory, identity, and the quiet emotional structures that shape the human experience.
Her practice develops a visual language built around dual states — protection and expression, strength and vulnerability, visibility and surrender. Through recurring symbolic systems such as the Twins, the Empress, and the General, her work reflects how inner and outer identities shift over time.
At the core of her work is the idea of impermanence: that nothing within us remains fixed — not identity, not emotion, not role — but instead exists in a state of quiet coexistence.
Working through a digital fine art process guided by selection, refinement, and narrative direction, Nguyen-Do approaches authorship as the shaping of meaning and continuity across a body of work.
Her practice is part of what she defines as Conversation Art — work created to live within a space, inviting reflection, stillness, and emotional recognition.
Studied International Business at Penn State University.
Trained in Interior Design at The Art Institute of Philadelphia, with professional experience in spatial composition and aesthetic development.
Her background in international entrepreneurship informs a multidisciplinary approach that bridges design, narrative, and cultural memory.
