Often finding her original inspiration from fashion, Anne incorporates texture through brush stroke and knife work to help find and create the subject, add depth, enhance distances, and manipulate eye movement. While she embraces using a variety of mediums, her primary medium is oil paint and she enjoys working with the figure in particular.
Anne has spent over six years studying at Braitman Studio in Charlotte, NC. She has taken art classes at the University of North Carolina, as well as art and fashion courses at Parsons School of Design and Meredith College. She's also taken workshops and classes from a number of artists, including; Jeremy Lipking, Andy Braitman, Miriam Dirkin, Angela Nesbit, Nicholas Stewart, Kelley Brugh, and Curt Butler.
Anne's work is currently being exhibited on artpulp.net.
