Dan R Cook

Living in the south west of England, Dan produces abstract artworks on wood or paper, using oil paint, clay pastel, pencil and a range of tools.

His work comes from a process of recovery from past sensation and memory. Giving body to latent responses and fragmented records throughout life.

'A colour, filtered light and shadow seem more translatable to me. Creating an expressive or tension filled composition gives it a palpable, touchable form'.
