Zamora Putpaña

Carlos Zamora is the owner of a very personal artistic language that seeks to deviate from traditional codes.

Zamora presents the observer with a rhetoric that, generally having the landscape as a starting point, ends up diluting itself in abstract images where the forms can be interpreted according to the mood of the spectator.

The firm and strong stroke defines the personality of his work in harmony with the chromatic resolution, where intensity is a constant. It is in the play of light and dark where the poetic revelation of the work seems to dwell, which then takes pleasure in its context of mysteries and harmonies.

Undoubtedly the origins of the artist, coming from a region where the telluric force prevails everywhere, have played a transcendental role in his plastic discourse. The exuberance of the tangled region of the jungle reproduced with the concepts of expressionist abstraction in his plastic arts techniques constitutes a very unique experience.
