For example, Picasso did not simply paint in a cubist manner — he created a "technology" of blending realities, industrial materials, and collage techniques, turning painting into a synthesis of different dimensions and textures. Malevich developed the technology of Suprematism — the radical use of basic forms to express a super-pure artistic language. Similarly, Jackson Pollock gave the world not just his paintings, which theoretically anyone could repeat, but a technology of drip painting, expressing a new concept of physical interaction with the canvas’s material.
