David A Burrows

I graduated from art school in London in 1981.

My early practice explored the clustering and contrast of imagery, with an increasing focus on process and chance, influenced by West Coast graphic design and postmodern pattern‑making. This work was produced primarily through silkscreen printing and etching.

I later worked in fashion, textile print design and designing and printing textiles and clothing, before spending an extended period in people coaching and development and organisation development all grounded in psychological theory.

My current practice draws in part on a long‑term engagement with multisystem disease, including hearing impairment, using process and structure as metaphor across photography, painting, drawing, and experimental film.
