Marta Grigorieva

Marta Grigorieva Russian-born, Monaco-based artist, who specialises in painting fine art portraits and figure painting. She has captured on canvas some of the world's top celebrities, Royals and hight- profile people. Her work, beyond hanging in private collections, also has been exhibited worldwide, including Sotheby's New York, Sochi Art Museum and Harvard University, Musee Naval de Monaco.

Artist’s recognisable style is characterised by confident lines, saturation of colour, bright colours, and play of light.

Marta Grigorieva is a member of International Federation of Artists and Moscow Union of Artists, and member of the Monegasque National Committee of the International Association of Plastic Arts at UNESCO.

Beginning commissioned work on the painting or a portrait, Marta always listens to the customer's opinion, for example, some of her paintings are made in an impressionistic style, others resemble modern colourful pop art objects.

Marta attended Harvard University Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, reading fine arts, art history.
In New York, after working at Sotheby’s, she studied portrait and figure painting with the leading American portraitist Nelson Shanks at the Art Student League.
