Lee Thomas, known online as CyberBlimp, is a digital creator and painter who enjoys the enquiry into the nature of art, the nature of aesthetic properties, and the nature of the aesthetic experience. His works are inspired by sociocultural and aesthetic observations. His digital piece's combine documentary and digital artistic manipulation techniques designed to create endless possibilities in which to capture, render, manipulate, and combine observational images. Each piece is unique, original, and sometimes highly personal in its subject matter and the nature of its capture and manipulation. His paintings are inspired by many art styles which includes abstract impressionism, informel, art brut, pseudo-naive, surrealism, expressionism, conceptual, modern, abstract and the cubist art movements. His preferred technique uses crude, bold but controlled brushwork to define the two-dimensional subject matter with raw non-naturalistic colours with the aim to capture the essence of the subject rather than an exact image.
