Daria Amaranth

Born in the north of Russia and now based in Saint Petersburg Daria Amaranth got interested in photography about four years ago, since then it became her passion. She has always been attracted to the mystical side of life, being inspired by cinematography, literature, painting, psychoanalysis and her own imagination. Daria defines her creative approach as "searching for mysteries with a camera" and specializes in conceptual photography with a hint of fine art and artistic fashion. In the perception of art, the sensory moment seems to be the most important aspect to Daria, it is more primary than analysis. In her works she likes to be concentrated around emotional life, the secrecy and silent passion of feelings; memories and vague dreams, mysterious intertwining between reminiscences and visions, illusions and inner labyrinths.
