Tracey Perdue

I was born and raised in Georgia. My husband and I recently moved near Philadelphia to experience a new side of the country. Most of my inspiration comes from my time in the South. I enjoy portraying southern nature, and using bright colors to represent the hot summer heat. Most of my work incorporates bold lines and colors. I love the using those combinations to create an emotional response in the viewer.

People are my passion. I see art as the human interpretation of the world. It’s a unique opportunity to view the world through someone else’s eyes. I hope to put a familial touch of emotion on each piece of work. I strive to capture the beauty in the little moments that surround us every day.

I studied art in the heart of Georgia, at Mercer University located in Macon, GA. I graduated with a 4.0 in a Bachelor of Art in Art in 2011.
