Hans Jørgen Henriksen -Dehansi

Zonation paintings focus on integrating and balancing the elements: lines, tones and colours.
I follow an expressionist painting philosophy inspired by Cézanne, Kleé and followers. Motives: Copenhagen cityscapes, croquis, stilleben. Artworks in acrylics, oil and charcoal.
I use the acronym 'de Hansi'.

I am an autodidact artist working in acrylics and charcoal. I first trained in croquis for many years, before turning toward painting in aquaoil, oil and in recent years acrylics.
I produce and develop my artworks in an artclass and from my studio at home. Drawings I make in Copenhagen as street/open air drawing.
I am a member of the artist association: Åbne Døre i Lyngby Taarbaek.
My inspiration come from the freshwater cycle, urban spaces, landscapes and climate change.
