Reza Bigonah

Reza Bigonah's paintings are deeply personal reflections inspired by the diverse landscapes of Ontario and Cape Breton Island in NS. His objective is to capture a compelling sense of reality through bold lines, geometric forms, and a focus on spatial dynamics.
Reza primarily works with acrylic on canvas. His signature style combines unique geometric shapes with a vibrant color palette, resulting in compositions that exude depth and intricate patterns of trees.
Reza believes that the role of an artist is to make a unique experience for himself and the viewer. He aims to evoke a tactile quality in his work, to open onto a vision that conveys movement, distance and atmosphere. His paintings beckon the viewer into a nostalgic realm of imaginative imagery, inviting introspection into the human experience.
Reza's recent pieces draw inspiration from complex color relationships and the bold, flat interactions of shape and design, evoking a futuristic-retro aesthetic infused with poetic elements.
