Swaroop Kumar

Born in India, the land of cultures, traditions, diversity & natural beauty, Swaroop’s artistic inclinations were defined at a very young age. He started weaving his dreams & imaginations in rich layers of graphite, charcoal & paints. Swaroop became an active member of Nature Conservation Society in his school days and this resulted in several visits to a nearby Wildlife sanctuary full of colorful plants & animals. These activities left a mark on him and he started painting landscapes and animals. The love for nature and the gift to portray his imaginations in color made him aim for more realistic paintings.
As he matured as an artist, Swaroop got fascinated with eyes, emotions, pain, happiness and various human expressions. He had by then mastered the art of sketching portraits. He believes that “Eyes are the doors of emotions” and “Eyes are, by far, the most important element of a portrait”.
Swaroop completed his Graduation in Commerce from the University of Delhi, India. As per him, his wife has been his source of motivation & has always inspired him to excel in every assignment he undertakes. He strongly believes in the statement “Once Creative, Always Creative!”. Besides sketching & painting, Swaroop excels in Photography.
