I've worked for more than a decade as a graphic designer and digital illustrator in the textile industry.

In 2019, I decided to go freelance which will allow me to follow my childhood dream of being a painter artist.

In February 2019, one of my paintings is exhibited at the Blue Penny museum, Mauritius for the KAYA expo, in memory of the late singer artist, Kaya, who died tragically in prison in 1999.

I made my first solo exhibition in February 2020 at my sister's café in Quatre-Bornes, showcasing some of my watercolours.

My paintings and drawings are heavily influenced by the impressionist style which I learned from Jose Maria Parramón's weekly publications during my school years. It was from these booklets that I learned about the great masters: Degas, Vélasquez, Monet, Manet, Pissarro, Delacroix, Rembrandt, Van Gogh to name a few. It is also where I acquired much of my drawing and painting techniques. I also had the chance of having wonderful teachers at school who have nurtured this passion for the arts in me.

Living in a multicultural country, I have multiple influences. I occasionally switch among the Impressionism, Art Deco and Expressionism style. My preferred mediums are watercolours, chalks, charcoal and acrylics.
