Manuela Nava

I am a self-taught artist specializing in the use of palette knives and impasto painting. Throughout my artistic journey, I have explored various techniques, ultimately favoring this unique approach.

My primary subjects are anatomical bodies, which I depict through a continuous study of positions and perspectives, often surreal. Additionally, I create textured landscapes using instinctive techniques.

My works are characterized by their texture: I use four acrylic colors, creating a contrast with various shades of white that impart depth to my seemingly flat compositions.

In my paintings, a deliberately imperfect line enhances the harmony between elements, conveying a raw and pure emotion.
