ABOUT ME

I've always had a deep, almost instinctive love for wood. It captivates all my senses—the endless variations in color, the unique grain patterns, the unexpected textures, and that unmistakable scent.

This connection goes back to my earliest childhood. My parents were passionate about marquetry, especially in furniture, and spent hours in auction houses hunting for rare pieces. They passed on their appreciation for craftsmanship and beauty. Both inventive and hands-on, they welcomed me into their workshop—a treasure trove of tools and materials that felt like a modern-day Aladdin’s cave. I would wander through it, fascinated by this world of creation.

After business school, I moved to India, drawn by an irresistible urge to experience its vibrant culture—an intoxicating mix of colors, noise, movement, and chaos. The experience completely shifted my perspective. I found a striking contrast between the exhilarating madness of India and the more restrained, classical world I had grown up in. It forced me to step outside my comfort zone and rethink my path. Returning to France, I spent over a decade developing concepts and products for luxury brands.
