Alfia Koral (Alfiia Korchagina) was born in 1981 in Ufa, Russia. Alfia left Russia in 2022 and moved to Mersin, Turkey. In 2024 she was endorsed for the Global Talent Visa by British Art Council. Alfia currently lives and works in London, UK.
She is specializing in oil painting, with a style that combines impressionism and realism and also experiments in abstract painting, developing his own unique style.

Alfiya studied art since childhood at an art school, after she took several courses in academic painting and graphics, specialized course in oil painting technology of the Old Masters, studied contemporary art at the Moscow HSE Art and Design School.

Studying and experimenting in various artistic practices influenced the developing her very distinctive artistic style, based on the physical properties of oil paint, which introduce an element of spontaneity and uncertainty into the final result, creating the effect of unusual color mixtures and bizarre textures, while forming recognizable associative images.
