Current Work Series 1 "Altered Beings & Their Coexistence" is a series based on my love of playing with human expressions on non-human beings. Each painting begins with a few sketches and several questions I ask myself. What creature can I draw that looks like no other? What human expression will I give these creatures? What colors and textures can I layer upon each other mirroring the mood of these altered beings and their surroundings? Finding the answer to these questions is an adventure into the unknown. When my brush hits the canvas I am ready. The adventure begins.
