Astrid Echle

Born in Leverkusen, I now live in the Rheingau, where I also work as an artist.

Since my youth I have been interested in art, but especially in the last 14 years I have found time and leisure to turn my hobby into a productive passion through numerous courses, academies and workshops with renowned artists.

My special passion is abstract acrylic painting with dense surface structures - often incorporating collages. Through different techniques and colours I try to create a relation between reality and fiction. The works from my series "Walk Your Way" oscillate between the abstract and the real.

I often combine bright colours with free gestures and through my great joy of experimenting I always remain open to new things.

Due to my main occupation, I am often a guest in the metropolises of the world. The impressions I gain there flow into my work again and again and influence my style.

I took courses with Ilona Griss-Schwaerzler, Rober Sueess, Alexander Jeanmaire and Gaby Dotter.
