Ciru Ivy

Ciru Ivy is a contemporary abstract painter who lives and works in Nairobi, Kenya. Throughout the years, she has explored different themes including abstract art, animals, and portraiture all with a unique gaze at humanity and the world surrounding it. An avid environmentalist, her work is inspired by nature and the vast beauty it holds, paying homage to her culturally rich African motherland. Her distinctive style portrays a hint of innocence while expressing the spirit and atmosphere of the continent. Her work has been exhibited at the Insider Illusion Christmas Exhibition, the 11th Affordable Art Show at the Nairobi National Museum, the Banana Hill Art Gallery, on 2 exhibitions at Aromah the Restaurant and the Karen Flea Market. Her work is currently showing at the Freedom exhibition at Aromah The Restaurant.
