Hello beautiful people my name is Maria Purcina Ferreira Prata I am of Brazilian Portugese decent proud and true.I was born in a small town in Brazil named Vila Paulista and was raised in the city of Cacoal,Rondônia in the Northwest part of Brazil.I am married to my best friend and husband Horacio and have eight children and sixteen grandchildren I love to paint and am very passionate,it allows me to express myself with every painting as I see the world through my eyes,heart,and soul.I attribute my unique style because of the influences of growing up in what resembled a florestal like paradise.I hope to inspire everyone that no matter what you’ve been through in life,no matter where you’ve been we must always strive to create and find beauty in our lives.I am very fortunate and grateful to have the ability to fulfill my dreams,I will never stop my quest to create art ,for it is in my mind,body and soul.

I am self-taught and since the age of 9 years old have been crafting my skill. As a young girl in my native country of Brazil I loved to paint as my canvas was my front yard. My paintings are unique and one of a kind.I copy no one,what I paint is me.
