Peter Anjoorian

I have spent the last 30 plus years working as a Commercial Product photographer, I never had much time for shooting personal artwork because I was always busy. In the last 4 years my career in commercial work has been winding down and I have been working to develop a Fine Arts portfolio. I have been shooting many different ideas so my work is all over the place in terms of subject matter, I like to experiment and I am not much of a purist, I like to have fun with my images and I hope I can convey that to my viewers.

I am self taught, my education is from the many years I have working in a creative industry.
I have always looked at photography as more of a vocation that happens to involve art and have never thought of myself as an artist but the people say I am so I'll go with that.

2015 Warwick Museum of Art, "Natures Gifts" Photography exhibit won 1 of 2 Best of show awards.
2016 Providence Journal annual Photography contest won 1st place in "Places" category.
