Kimberly Sumerel

I primarily paint my designs on canvas, but have been known to paint on just about anything that will take paint! I create and paint using a variety of different art mediums such as watercolor, acrylics and colored pencils. I love floral designs and find such beauty in the color of butterflies, but really enjoy painting whatever inspires me at that time.

Many of my art designs are found on fashion cosmetic bags which are derived from the paintings I create. They are usually a big hit at arts events and fashion extravaganzas.

With a professional creative arts and fashion background, and over 30 years experience in an always changing and competitive industry, I wanted to create art inspired fashion accessory products like none other, but to do so, my images first had to be created on canvas. As a professional performance artist, producer and director, I am constantly creating and painting larger than life sets, designing colorful character make up, and instructing other artisans on how to sell and market their creative hand made products and art through the use of special events. Having an extensive artistic background has allowed me the opportunity to experiment with a variety of different art mediums, where I am able to develop a style all my own.
