ABOUT MARIO ČAUŠIĆ – Visual artist
I was born in 1972 in Osijek, Croatia. I graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb in 2001. Currently I live and work in Osijek as associate professor at the Academy of Arts, Printmaking Department. Since 2002 I have been a member of the Croatian Association of Fine Artist in Osijek. Throughout my career I have taken part in numerous solo and group shows and for my works I received numerous awards. In my artistic work I am dedicated to exeprimental exploration of space and its manifestations as well as broadening the boudaries of the medium. I use different media, but mostly prints, installations, drawings and video.
