Mark Marino

My passion to create art was sparked early in life by my father's hidden skill. "I was about 5 years old when I came across a sketchbook in our home. When I looked through it I was amazed at the beauty and feeling the pencil drawings evoked! Portraits and street scenes; and I was even more amazed to find out they were my dad's drawings! I knew that I wanted to do that also."

I became fascinated with all kinds of art and I believed art would be my career, so I felt free to try a lot of other things. It has been a difficult process but today I am in alignment with who I really am. I am now a full time, growing, changing, fire-breathing genius artist! I love the creation process; it's always new! I do not paint like any other artist that I have seen--my style is my own and it's evolving. My favorite thing is to paint from my imagination.

I have a bachelor degree in fine arts from the University of Northern Colorado with minor in Psychology. I have studies painters: Dave Wade, Michael Lynch, Leon Parson, John Singer Sargent, Daniel Sprick, Nicoli Fechin, Robert Moore, and others.
