Meir Martin is a visual artist and photographer based in Coral Springs, Florida, and the inventor of Aethergraphy, a new artistic style that fuses hundreds of bird photographs into a single large-scale imagination that captures time, motion, and the layered rhythms of nature. His work is the result of decades of photographing birdlife in Israel and Florida’s wetlands, transformed into monumental artworks designed for airports, hotels, and cultural spaces. Each piece is not a single moment but a passage of time, where light, flight, and story merge into one canvas. Martin’s super-sized works often span dozens of feet, including circular and ceiling installations, and his vision has been featured in exhibitions at the Fort Lauderdale Main Library, Miami Federation, and most recently in the Sun Sentinel’s 2025 article “House of Wings.” Through Aethergraphy, he emphasizes innovation rooted in tradition, craftsmanship, and a lifelong respect for the natural world.
Since a young age, I have walked the streets of the Old City of Jerusalem with a camera, photographing its life, people, and history. This lifelong practice of observation and photography has become my true education.
