American Artist, Atlanta, GA Brent Baker is an American abstract expressionist artist. His work includes painting, drawing, collage, assemblage, linocut printmaking and photography. Baker’s intuitive sense of mark-making services was developed at an early age. He found the authentic abstract form and approach most comfortable. His disciplined painting practice is a blend of spontaneity use of organic lines incorporated with nature’s ever-evolving palette. His creative voice can best be described as language of instinct and experience. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Ohio University and entered the workforce. His career has been diversified from working in wholesale apparel, food service management and eventually establishing a decorative faux-finishing studio in Atlanta. This self-employment decision was the turning point for showcasing his artistic fine art talents with the design trade. Today Baker’s work is collected both by residential and commercial collectors and has been featured in many design publications. Atlanta is where he calls home. His works are available on canvas, paper and mural sized wood panels.
