It's a RUN-deful life Print

I am blessed with synaesthesia, a condition which means the blending of the senses. I see words in colours, with light and in space. I see the world around me like a painting. This wonderful abnormality enhances the story I tell through my paintings because I am able to capture the moment on the canvas as though it was still in motion and alive. I have an insatiable desire to share my experience of synaesthesia with the world and show it as I sense it. To achieve this, I use household gloss paint freely dripped from a palette knife to express the aliveness of lines and their energy. In this way I give life to the lines, allowing them to take their own path and be free. Mixing inks with my paints to saturate the colours on my canvas augments their power and spreads the enormous feeling of joy they give me.
