Transformation 2 Print

I have loved art ever since I was a little girl. Drawing, painting, and all creative projects seemed to be my raison d'etre. This love of art lead me to get a degree in Fine Art/Art Education. While I was working on my degree, I enjoyed classes in 3 dimensional design, painting, mixed media collage, sculpture, ceramics, print making, and drawing. I soon realized that painting was my true passion. I didn't paint for many years because I was busy raising young children. When my daughter was in college, she asked me to create a painting for her college dorm room. I painted a couple of pieces for her, and couldn't stop. I continued to paint as it became such a passion. Abstract and floral themes dominate my repertoire of paintings. By using vibrant colors and bold brush strokes I create unique pieces. I hope that my natural sense of optimism and joie de vivre are reflected in my art, and that I can create an uplifting, enjoyable experience for viewers.
