Trace Chiodo was born and raised in Wisconsin. He studied graphic design at Gateway Technical College in Racine, Wisconsin. While in school, his career started in the pre-press department of TMS Lithography. After one year, he was asked to pioneer the in-house graphic design department. It was there that he designed print materials for Case Corporation, Modine Manufacturing, Budget Rental Car and many other companies. After 5 years at TMS, Trace decided to venture out and become an independent graphic designer. He has served clients across the United States and internationally, and has won several awards for his creativity and expertise. In 2016, Trace began exhibiting his own work in Southeastern Wisconsin. Since then he has exhibited in numerous group exhibitions including the Racine Art Museum Vicinity Show, The Racine Art Guild Juried Show(s), The Anderson Center for the Arts Winter Juried Show(s) and most recently MoMA In the Studio: Art by MoMA's Online Learning Community in New York, NY. Trace’s works not only a reflects his creativity and design skill, they are a reflection of his experiences, his surroundings, and his passions. They tell intriguing stories, much like he does.
