Taking the classes in Acrylic Paint Formulation in 1970 was a turning point in my creativity. I fell in love with my paints and the processes that I could experiment with. Empirically, I learned and discovered amazing qualities that acrylic paint, itself, has when played with experimentally. The zero ground became another major shift in perception for me. On a ground of rigid acrylic sheet I can paint on both sides. I also paint on acrylic films, layering and laminating for even more dynamic opportunities for discovering new worlds of amazing beauty. Color becomes the theme that dramatically shifts and connects everything else, and texture is totally exciting for me to play with.
