Jane Burt

Born 1956 Bodmin Cornwall. I was brought up on the edge of Bodmin Moor, but only 6 miles from the sea.Art & textiles being my favourite lessons when at school and after. My mother was a great inspiration to me. My main passion in life is my art and the outdoors. The inspiration for my work comes from nature and the sea. Most of my work is created be the use of fabric and stitch work. I also work with porcelain clay, creating pieces of pottery and buttons. However I have recently started to work with recycled materials such as slate, glass, stones and shells. I create usable items as well as art from these. I create 3D, abstract and fine art.
