I make art to entertain, for viewers to enjoy, to convey a temporary escape from life’s realities such that the viewer walks away a little lighter, a little content.
The world has enough darkness in it. I paint situations imbued with a little fiction and escapism. A little satire too. But on the whole trying to leave a hint of a smile on the viewer’s lips.
