Ziegler Pierre

Paintings build with multiple surfaces, one upon the others. Palimpsest of symbols, words, numbers, anthropomorphic figures, hidden signs, magical talismans in bright and primary colors. Confronting alchemy, magic, symbols, with modern society concepts such as advertising, politics, mass consumption, mixing all the graphic elements in a "cut up" painting, looking like collage. Saturation/chaos from wich emerge an equilibrium of characters, words and ideas. The work is influenced by primitive arts : Aboriginal, African, Oceanians, Picasso, Basquiat, and street.
