My painting act is a direct and intuitive process that I explore and reorganize as space through this act and that emerge from this intimacy. Observation and inspiration and my personal experience and imagination while painting are most of them brought from nature, landscapes, forests. I like abstraction because I try to look for new pictorial formula that are generally luminous, colorful, harmonious and that arise through the formal aspects of painting as: color, line, shape, structure and composition. It is the action of painting that I adjust to an invisible frame of reference, not descriptive of an image that already exists but what emerges and happens when it appears. It is the origin in the exploration of creating, in the act that transforms and at the same time communicates. It is a direct act between chaos and existence, which investigates, improvises, reflects and there are always moments that never cease to surprise (me). To observe the mind and creative spirit through the potential of color, movement and lyricism, such as the beauty and complexity of living here on earth, but also in a cosmos. Each piece is a reflection of experience, matter and spirit as well as moments of exploration. SCULPTURES I connect with art through a visual poetics capable of expressing personal and cultural concerns linked to ancient concepts related to Venus, small prehistoric effigies that are related to fertility. One of my links with femininity is related to telluric issues and my attempt to approach a certain new reflection on the link of the feminine with the Earth and its relationship with nature-society-spirituality. What does it mean to be female? What does it mean to be a woman? What does it mean to procreate? The wardrobe and body relationship, these and other questions led me to the concept of the dolls with which we grow and play in our childhood. The Goddesses that I propose I call them "My Lilits" referring to the first woman of Adam before Eva and in contrast I also refer to "Lilli Doll" which was a German doll produced from 1955 to 1964 and is the predecessor of the most famous doll in the world: Barbie In my artistic proposal the prototype torso mold has an African touch origin with wipe hips and resembles a dressmaker mannequin that I paint or wrap with different materials: threads, buttons, fabrics, elements of nature that inspire me in the diversity of the different cultures and civilizations of the planet.
