Catalina Ungureanu is a Romanian fine-artist based in Cornwall. Her work often embodies personal themes of religion, isolation and anxiety, thus creating an incredibly intimate spectacle for the viewer. To carry the bleak essence of her work, Catalina is well disciplined in painting, etching, lithography, screen-printing, collage and installation art. Catalina approaches each piece with a traditionalist respect, yet finely balanced with contemporary experimentation.
