Francisco Ortega

Born in Seville Spain in 1977
Fine Art degree in 2003
Moved to London in 2004
Currently living and working as a painter and freelance Art teacher in Extremadura, Spain.

In my work there is improvisation and arrangement; there is room for chaos and the meditated construction of an image. There are connections, contradictions and dilemmas wrapped in an abstract atmosphere in which the emphasis is made in the process of painting itself and its characteristics and possibilities as a medium.
