Hanieh Ghashghaei

Hanieh Ghashghaei is an Iranian artist based in Bologna, Italy, where she has immersed herself in the world of illustration for over a decade. After gaining significant experience in the field, she began collaborating with magazines, newspapers, and children's publishers, and has illustrated four books to date. Her clients include esteemed names such as The New Yorker, Gli Asini, and Italian cultural institutions like the Bologna Jazz Festival.

For Hanieh, each illustration is a standalone artwork, crafted with attention and emotional depth. Drawing inspiration from everyday life, Eastern fairy tales, and fragments of memory, she creates her images using a mix of acrylic paint, paper collage, and monoprint techniques.
