TRINE CHURCHILL is a Danish painter living in Los Angeles.
Her paintings capture the fleeting moments of memory and childhood, blending the real and the dreamlike within settings of magical nature. Inspired by personal and found photos, she uses figurative imagery and landscapes to evoke a sense of wonder and nostalgia.

TRINE CHURCHILL received her BFA from Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angles and studied for a semester at l´Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris. This introduced her to the French impressionist painters with frequent visits to museums like Musee d’Orsay and l’Orangerie. Earlier influence came from the surrealists such as Magritte and Dali, and the Norwegian expressionist Edvard Munch...
