Johanna Furst

I am captivated by the deep longing I feel for the mystery and sacred connection between nature and the divine. When I paint the figure, enveloped in light and air, I begin with intention, but the process always unfolds in ways I could not anticipate. It's as if the painting itself takes on a life of its own, guiding me as a mere facilitator of its unfolding message. What a glorious and endlessly curious process.
