Rebecca Hyde

While new to painting, I’ve been a graphic designer since 21. I started in the greeting card industry alongside other inspirational artists, and then teaching Advanced Graphic Design at a private college in Oxford, followed by starting a design and print company. Now, I have a web design business in Oxfordshire, which I love, yet my creative side is now bursting from the screen on to paper in the form of painting.

During the lockdown, I have stumbled organically upon a passion for watercolour painting in particular thanks to my son’s watercolour pencils while we drew together. I love nature and being outside, and I bring that joy to all of my work, whether that is graphic design, watercolour painting, or whatever else is next!

2020 - Wild Earth Art was born. With a love for nature, I feel drawn to paint anything living and natural.
