Cosmos 3 Painting

I am a contemporary artist based in Delhi, practicing at the Garhi Lalit Kala Artist Studio. Born in 1991 in Muzaffarpur, Bihar, I developed a deep connection with the natural world from an early age, which continues to shape my artistic journey. I hold both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Fine Arts (Painting) from Mahatma Gandhi Chitrakoot Gramodaya University. My work explores the intricate relationship between life and societal evolution, capturing nature’s shifting moods and their profound influence on human emotions and behavior. My artistic practice is characterized by a unique synthesis of lines, textures, and vivid colors, reflecting my deep engagement with nature’s dynamic forms. I experiment extensively with acrylics, oil pastels, and self-created woodcuts on canvas, creating compositions that balance abstraction with recognizable elements. I pay meticulous attention to detail while intuitively exploring organic patterns, allowing me to evoke themes that resonate with emotional depth and visual complexity. In 2024, I completed "Nature's Creation: Relationship," a project funded by the Junior Fellowship of the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. Through this project, I examined natural interactions and the subtle transformations occurring over time. Translating these themes onto canvas has allowed me to share my reflections on nature’s intricate processes with a wider audience. My work has been showcased internationally in both solo and group exhibitions. My solo exhibitions include shows at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi (2024, 2019) and a Print Exhibition in Shoreditch, London (2023). I have also participated in group exhibitions across prominent venues such as Lalit Kala Akademi, New Delhi (2022), Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai (2022), and internationally at the Parallel Exhibition in Toronto and Chicago (2023). Additionally, my works have been displayed at the POP-Up Art Exhibition, Shoreditch, London (2021) and the Pacific Wild Auction (2020). Dedicated to preserving the authenticity of my artistic vision, I am deeply committed to sustainable practices. I incorporate eco-friendly materials and techniques into my work, ensuring that my creative process aligns with my environmental consciousness. By embracing sustainability, I not only add a layer of integrity to my work but also encourage viewers to reflect on the delicate balance between humanity and the natural world.
