The work of Guillaume Serve is characterised by the play of the parallels and the diversions of images.

Collage of medium and ideas seems to be a good definition of the process used in Guillaume Serve’s works.

Whatever medium used, it is always put in prospect with another one ( video and photography in the case of the video called Ophélie, but also photography, serigraphy, drawings...).

If exploring the limits of mediums is one of the artist direction, each esthetical solution is a special response to the subject chosen by the artist.

The representation of the human body is a reccurent theme. Linked to concepts as memory, death, erotism, politics and humour, Guillaume Serve explores the limits of every medium used.
