Hi, my name is Gareth and I have worked in the creative arts as a Graphic designer for the last 20 years. These are my my personal works of art, which allow me to express my influences growing up on the West Coast of Canada where I was surrounded by the art and culture of the Haida Indians. Their graphical language fascinated me as a child and this influence is evident when I draw freely. The shapes and concepts just flow and are always connected to the natural world around me. I was always outside in the woods in moving between Canmore and Vancouver. We lived on Vancouver Island for a period during the 70s at Strathcona, which was an escape from the normal world for like minded people trying to reconnect and live in symbiosis with nature. I hope you them visually stimulating and create your own story about each piece.
