Ian Mcadam

Ian McAdam was born and works primarily in England.

Ian studied painting and lithography in London at Croydon College of Art, where his tutors included Quentin Blake, John Hoyland, Allen Jones, Charles Keeping and Bridget Riley.

In the 1970s he took a post-graduate art teachers course at London University's Institute of Education. This was followed by a period teaching art to A level students and mature students.

Because of the time it takes to promote and stage exhibitions he exhibits almost exclusively though Saatchi Art, which allows him to devote more time to painting.

His work is held in a number of private collections.
