Since I was a little girl, I have loved nature – being outdoors has always brought me peace and calm. I unfortunately traded in my childhood for 10 years of an eating disorder born from severe anxiety and mental instability. After years of misery (that I didn’t know I was living in), I found therapy, and I was suddenly reminded of the immense freedom I felt as a child. Colorful nature is my reminder that I don’t have to worry what I look like, and I can just exist in the natural freedom in our world – the colors and childlike joy, all of it.
