As an artist, I am interested in capturing the quiet and stillness in places and things on the periphery of everyday consciousness. Sometimes, these are efforts to reflect the visceral nature of inner states and secrets. My goal is to give visual form to the transient and often vulnerable nature of the human condition.
Deeply inspired by the aesthetics of 19th century photography, expressionist painting, Eastern art and abstract music, I studied photography at Parsons School of Design in NYC.
I have exhibited internationally in Paris, New York, New Orleans (New Orleans Museum of Art), Pittsburgh (Andy Warhol Museum and Carnegie Museum of Art) and San Francisco. My album cover photography includes the cover image for Markus Reuter's 2015 "Mundo Nuevo" release. My work also appears in private collections around the world.
