I’m a contemporary figurative sculptor exploring themes of identity, history and memory. Using the human body as my canvas, figures or faces are seen as part of a landscape or object. We are much more than our body; we are complicated beings influenced by family, work, environment and much more. In my sculpture I attempt to show different facets of our lives; I bring my own story to my work and I enjoy the viewer bringing theirs.
The various materials I use are specifically chosen to explore my ideas to the full and are often incongruous with one another, inviting the viewer to question what they are seeing.
My sculptures are wall hanging; ceramic work is designed to be enjoyed on any wall in your business or home whilst cold-cast metal work is suitable for outdoors too.
